About me

CHRISSIE HALL is a director/photographer specialising in advertising, fashion, portraiture and social documentary. She strives to invoke and capture the enigmatic and daring element of her subjects amid surreal environments. Her art emphasises the bond between how individuals and their surroundings can influence one another to produce bold, startling and breath-taking results.  

Having assisted world-renowned photographers, Spencer Tunick, Rankin, Diana Scheunemann and being mentored by Tracey Moffatt (for her first book), Hall’s extensive folio of photographic work questions what is deemed as the norm, bridging the gap between the familiar and the ‘other’.  

Hall, co creative director for XRay Doll (a creative production company). And she is also apart of the AIPP (Australian Institute for Professional Photography).

Hall is currently working on her new book titled "The book of Charly Brown" which will be released in 2022.
